Introduction Lung Cancer i n the Philippines, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), lung cancer is the most common form of cancer globally with 2.09 million cases recorded in 2018 which is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men and is the third for women. In the Philippines, the Global Cancer Observatory (GLOBOCAN) recorded 17,255 cases of lung cancer and 15,454 deaths due to the disease in 2018.
